5i25+7i76 помогите подружить

Всем доброго времени суток.
Столкнулся с такой проблемкой, которую не могу побороть. Форумы разные читал - ну не получаетсья увидеть пины 7i76
Немного исходных данных:
-Платы:
5i25+7i76+кабель (куплены за бугром)
5i25 подключен к 7i76 через Р3
положение джамперов 5i25 (W1 и W2 - в верхнем положении)
положение джамперов 7i76 (W2 левое)
Питание (для тестов) на разъеме TB1 (1pin-5V, 8pin-GND)
-Что делалось:
Прошивка месы

День добрый! Уже не первый такой день пытаюсь подружить эти две платы.
5i25 прошилась нормально (прошивка 5i25_7i76x2.bit). Прошить 7i76 никак не получается. При попытке ./update7i76 выходит такая же ошибка.
"Error: could not insert module /usr/realtime-3.4-9-rtai-686-pae/modules/linuxcnc/setsserial.ko: Operation not permitted"
В dmesg тоже "Unable to find sserial remote corresponding to hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0". В тесте show (ниже) никаких упоминаний о 7i76.
Питание на 5i25 - W2 установлен вверх, то есть питание на дочернюю подается.
На 7i76 - W2 установлен в правое положение, то есть основное питание идет от стороннего блока. Соответственно W1 тоже в правом положении. И подано 24в на ТВ1.

Или на 7i76 джампер W2 надо в левое положение? Тогда W1 в каком должен быть? Вроде там предупреждение есть:
"Никогда не применяйте внешнее питание к 7176, когда W2 находится в левом положении, или вы можете повредить карту 7176, FPGA, ПК или соединительный кабель."
Или я что-то напутал?

Так я же говорю - читайте внимательнее, на 7i76 надо подавать два питания. :)

Так я и подаю и от 5i25 и от БП. Пытался по разному устанавливать джамперы. Результат один

7i76 состоит из двух частей:
1. генераторы шагов + управление шпинделем
2. Дискретные порты ввода-вывода (Field IO).

Первая часть может питаться через хост-кабель от 5i25 или от внешнего источника на 5В подключаемого к TB3. Выбирается это джампером W2.
Вторая часть всегда питается от отдельного источника на 8-32V, подключаемого к TB1.

Подали отдельное питание на ТВ3 - 5 вольт. Ошибка та же. НО!

Так я просил с кабелем, но счет уже выставили. то, се, так и купил отдельно на чипидип.

Так-то согласен, что надо подробнее изучать вопрос. Но я же не знал, что они еще и разные бывают.
По плате, кстати, победили! Купили телефонный провод на 25 жил и перепаяли. Заработала!!
